It’s been a perfect chillout weekend. Most of the time the only music was the wind and sound of waves. And right at the end of it, while enjoying the last cup of coffee there was this track which seemed to fit right in. And so it becomes the song of the week :)

A great flashmob was organized in Copenhagen in April, when a classical piece was played live in the subway. The Copenhagen Phil (Sjællands Symfoniorkester) played Edvard Grieg’s Peer Gynt.

There are many ways to remix / remake a song, sometimes for the better and most times for the worse. But sometimes, it just gives a new dimension to the whole thing. This is what I felt when I discovered this video.
Basically, the Viva Vox choir (from Serbia) made some choral interpretations to popular songs. They had a hit with Du Hast and kept on going. What came out for Prodigy (a mix of songs) is just amazing! See for yourselves below.

One of the best covers I’ve heard lately comes from Hugo. He took Jay-Z’s 99 problems song, stripped it bare and sang it in a blues / country fashion.

Really nice! RHCP launched an interactive video for their “Look Around” song. The video alows you to do just that – look around various rooms and see the band members playing the song. Additionally, you can click on certain objects and interupt the video for seeing behind the scenes images and more.
